what do i have to mod. to make a LT1 intake fit a 406.

Sorry, I doubt that many people are going to have much advice, that's not a common thing to do. Any sort of an engine swap where you're not swapping it out with the same motor gets tough. You're probably going to have to have some custom fabrication before you get everything squared away. Why don't you just bore and stroke the LT1 out to a 396?
