Default lookin at a camaro

hey all new to the site and the reason i am here is this. I have a question about the lt-1 motor. first off i have a 85 s10 blazer that i hve had at 11.91 in the quarter mile. ok second i have a cardomain site and this guy hit me up about trading it for a fourth gen camaro. it is a 97 that has a lt-1 badge on the front quarters he said that his fiance drove the car once in the quarter mile and she was in the 11's mind u he also says the motor is stock, the clutch is a center force and it has a hyperchip and borla exhaust with a six speed manual. so my question is his he blowing smoke where the sun dont shine.

I am just curious to what u think

Hmm...a fully stock LT1 Camaro runs low 14's, a stock with exhaust "hyperchip" that you can't use w/ the car and a new clutch and you're in the 11's, damn, shoulda got a clutch...

Nah, looks like you've got a good amount of smoke up the rear my friend, and it isn't good tire smoke either, it's that bad kind of smoke...

The only 4th gen Camaros that you can use a new chip in are 1993, in 1994 GM started using a PCM, which can simply be reprogrammed, so it doesn't take chips.

The only way a stock LT1 Camaro will get into the 11s is if you drive it down a steep cliff. Also, as far as I knowthe cars never came with LT1 badges anywhere on the outside of the car. I really think your Cardomain buddy is sucking on a little too many sugar cubes dipped inacid and is hallucinating, or heis trying to pull a fast one on you.
