the crossover pipe can be taken off without taking the heads off. not easy but can be done.

drove it today, drilled a hole on the t brass and that helped and it was fine, then a little bit later, drove it again and temp went up high and now it doesnt want to shift

did you bleed again? what do you mean it wont shift?

Yes bled it many times. Bought a 160 today but probably will just take it back. And like driving, it doesn't want to shift when in drive unless you step on it hard. Too many problems for me.

Definitely take back the 160 thermostat. Unless you can turn your fans on or off manually, or have it retuned for the lower thermostat, then it isn't going to fix your overheating problem.

i can turn them on manually but i dont think it will solve my overheating problem

check trany fluid level. is it slipping? meaning does it feel like a clutch going out on a standard trany?
