So I got the air dam and put it on... the car runs right at 180 while I'm driving and doesn't move... it only heats up when I'm sitting at a stop light and the fans come on and cool it right down... and as soon as I drive the fans shut off.. does this sound like its doing like it should?.....

drill a hole in top of the brass t you have there and tap it for a screw. see if you can find a bleeder screw at a wrecking yard or dealer and tap to that screws thread and size. otherwise im sure you could take it out till the air is gone. maybe drill, file or dremel the screw part way up in a small spot so air can get out when its losened.

where that bleeder is is where the air really likes to hang so i would say yes all the air will not come out without a bleeder there.
if you want to put a cheap rebuilt water pump over your opti its up to you. i dont recomend it.

oh i see.. comes with a warranty. how much would a non rebuild one be? i dont have much but i I'm hoping by not having a 3rd bleeder screw thats why it still overheats.

a water pump failing will not cause a lt1 to overheat, that is untill the coolant level drops. if your water pump is not leaking its ok. new water pumps run about 150 bucks. like i said spendy. and the bleeder screw on the throttle body is not needed, i guess or gm would have left it there. you can bypass the throttle body with a piece of pipe and a couple of hose clamps.
