do the pressure test. i was losing coolant out of a tiny hole by the hose clamp and it never showed until i got it up to pressure with a tester and pulled a little on the hose. even then only a small amout came out. it was pushing it out when it was heating up and trying to pressure up, then when i would shut it off it cooled and made a vacuum and sucked air in. i was never in the garage when the car heated up so i never left a puddle.

true but its $150 to rent that tool but you get it back which is good. and will i 160 thermostat be better/work? or do i supposedly have to get it tuned to use one?

right i was thinking that if you spend the money on the pump you may not have it for the tester. just stick with a stock thermostat for now and yes you would need to have it tuned for a 160.

drill a hole in top of the brass t you have there and tap it for a screw. see if you can find a bleeder screw at a wrecking yard or dealer and tap to that screws thread and size. otherwise im sure you could take it out till the air is gone. maybe drill, file or dremel the screw part way up in a small spot so air can get out when its losened.

So I got the air dam and put it on... the car runs right at 180 while I'm driving and doesn't move... it only heats up when I'm sitting at a stop light and the fans come on and cool it right down... and as soon as I drive the fans shut off.. does this sound like its doing like it should?..... either way I'm stoked that its not getting warm anymore... thank you all for all your input and comments!
