Default OverHeating

Hey whats going on fellas. I am new to the site I am restoring a 87 camaro. She is a daily driver with a 305 in her now that I am going to replace. I have one issue at this time. If I sit in traffic for to long she over heats. The fan is controled by a switch but that doesn't always work. I have to cut the heat on with the fan blowig to get her to cool down.

Default RE: OverHeating

I had the same problem. Turns out the switch was crapping out on me so I took off the switch and connected the wires so the fan is always on with the ignition for now. I also replaced my water pump, upper hose, and the plastic case on the radiator.
