I like to use Felpro gaskets, make sure you change the oil BEFORE you start the car. You would be amazed at how many people have destroyed engines by letting anti freeze mix with the oil then start it "just to see" if everything is ok.

Let it seal for 24 hours before starting car

nice thing about a lt1 is no coolant in the intake manifold. if you dont drain the coolant it can come outa a couple of the bolt holes. lol, at least thats how i remember it.
