Looking at Elliotts webpage, some of the cam packages came with a recommendation of certain gear ratios...what ratio comes in our lt1's with a 6spd? Why do some of these cams require special gears?

I think I talked to Llyod half a dozen times before I decided he was the one I wanted to do the work. He can talk about cars all day if you want. Listen to what the man says and his recomendation for parts.

I just sent a spare set of heads and intake to Llyod on Monday. He got them Friday.

Keep in mind I live in CA, so I was forced into a smaller cam than I would have liked.
I am getting the LE2 heads with the patriot springs, Ti retainers and locks and the Manley 2.00/1.56 New valves. As for the cam, I am getting the 223/230 112lsa emissons cam.

I hope this helps your decision one way or another.

I will report back when it is all back together and then when it is tunned. (I have to see if I can sweet talk Steve Cole into tunning it, TTS)
