im bringin it up.... camshaft, suggestions?

if u want tourque get a desiel. i get 190 hp and 300 lbs of tq from my 471. only turns 2000 rpms too. thatll get u to the 100 ft line fast. lol.

Improper install of what? It was factory. It loaded up with fuel and broke a ring! No big deal, I'm building it this time.

I don't know where or what state you got those numbers from but my buddies 93 car stock ran 12's from the factory(with CAI/tune) in Maryland on a cool spring morning. Mine would have done the same if I knew how to drive it. Please, both these cars are six-speed manuals, 5.7Liter LT1's, with a straight axle! You should slap yourself in the face for writing those numbers!

Please most you "dragstrip" guys set your car up like a Volkswagon! My car is set-up for Rally!

471 is in my crabber. dont do much dragging with it. leave that to liberty and his shimper. lol

i rest my case on you not knowing what you're talking about...if you did then you would know a CAI no longer makes it stock.

and you brought up your buddy running quarters, but suddenly we're wrong for talking 1/4 times?

i was thinking stock rwhp is right around 240...but could be wrong. and if your buddy's ran 12's like that, then he's got the world record for fastest car with simple mods. tell him congrats. and i call BS

heres a stock dyno for a 94 lt1 manual trans. shows a little under 250hp at the wheels and a little under 300 ftlbs of tq.

DUDE, the car run stock from the factory in the low thirteens! STOCK with a manual! You do the math and quit quoting that stupid link posted by the jealous europeans!
