amen to that, quick one for ya though, lets just say i keep stock heads, just so i know if i go this rout......what kind of lsa do i want for a good mild lope sound? 112?

mild lope? 111 or 112 would be good...114 is closer to a stock sounder.

anything under 111 will have a pretty choppy idle

223 230 cam can make in the area of 400 hp. ill let u know. lol. thats what ill have in the car in a week or so. it would be a good one to start with. then when the heads get changed switch to the 1.6 rockers. kinda cool u can have your cake and eat it to. lol.

haha true, thats what i will do more than likley, then if i dont get heads it is still a good cam for what i have

I just got a new cam for my camaro. It is a comp cam 268 grind. When I called them they said it was the biggest cam I could get without head work. The only thing you need it new beehive springs for your valves. I like the new cam though, it has a nice overlap, but have not had a chance to run it since here in Michigan we have a lot of snow.

i hope you put new rockers, pushrods and injectors in with that cam...otherwise its only a matter of time before it goes BOOM

i knew about pushrods and springs and stuff but why injectors? i dont get that one, is there that big of a increase in fuel after the cam instal?
