if you plan on doing LE1 heads later on down the road, then talk to lloyd elliott about your cam as well. he will set one up that will work well with stock heads and work even better after he's had his hands on them.
ps, the cc306 WILL work with stock heads, but its a pretty aggressive cam. i honestly think you'd be looking more in the vicinity of the cc503...i forget the exact numbers on it but i'm sure if you googled "cc503" that you could find plenty of info on them.
also keep in mind all the parts that will be needed to go with a cam swap.
and someone tell me how stroking a motor adds weight...you lost me there

It adds rotaiting mass which is what builds torque. Longer stroke and heavier, stronger components. You don't need to spinn it to the moon when you have torque, you get into the power and clutch/shift it correctly, which by the way cannot be achived on a dino.

you need to keep in mind that if he's going with LE1 heads, that he's not looking to break horsepower records. lloyd can set him up a very solid cam that works with stock heads or ported heads.
i also wouldn't piece together a build over a couple years since plans ALWAYS change. hell i had plans of a sleeper car...now i went full out 396 2 years later. see what i'm saying?

i'm not sure why you felt the need to rattle off all of that information about stock heads...my stage 3 ported heads will still be reverse cooled my friend...and my heads have better springs and NSA rockers as well.
murdered...just talk to lloyd about your plans and goals. trust me, even if you dont' buy from him, he will steer you in the right direction. you don't need a stroker to make beautiful amounts of horsepower
