Got a 95 z28. latley i noticed when the rpm's get up there before i shift the car kinda hesitates ,not missfire. but if i get on it hard it goes away. any ideas? something else that is weird is before i start the car up i always have to turn the key on and off like three times to prime or it just takes forever to start.

 

Sounds like you have a pressure leak in the FI system. Could be the fuel pump, pressure regulator, or a leaky injector. Do a pressure test to find out which one. Check the sticky in the LT1 section for procedure.
