Alright i have a 95 camaro and i need to replace the engine and transmission. the car has 105000 miles on it. Alright heres the part were u laugh, my car is a v6 and i want to put a lt1/lt4 in it. Yes i kno i should go ahead and buy a new car, but i cant i love my car. I have learned how to fix cars and have fixed many things on my car and spent lots of money on paint and sound. I just want some advice and would appreciate the help. Ok, lets say i buy a lt1 with a automatic tranny (or what they call a complete engine on ebay) i want to rebuild the engine when i get it, what does that mean and hard is it to do, i love to take things apart so i really want to do that. i would also like to know what other parts i would need to buy that doesnt come with the "Complete engine". please help me i want to learn how to do this, i know i might sound a little crazy but i love my car to much to get rid of. please help

well going from a 6 to a 8 takes some work, first thing i would suggest is get a rear end that can support a v8,next you will need a wiring harness and cpu, if you want to buy an lt1/4 i would buy a new one, or have a professional rebuild the one you buy on ebay it will save you a lot of trouble
