hey guys about the only thing i can find with my 97 3.8L is the fact that the gas meter floats like maaaaad anybody else seen this or anybody have a solution appreciate the help

 

does it float when your at a complete stop on a level road ?

 

It's how all the gas guages are in the 4th gens. Apparantly GM did it on purpose to make it look like you were getting crazy good gas mileage, I find it quite annoying, but you gotta deal with it. Remeber, when it says it's empty, it means it!

 

no it dosent float when still but i can go from full to 1/4 a tank when taking a sharp turn

 

well it normally moves around when driving but if it moves around that much maybe the sensor is off or bad
