Default Headers..are they worth it?

So are they really worth it? I want to get them, but my father says there's no point since the car runs fine as is (nevermind that our '66 Satellite did too before we bought headers for that ha). And are the small name headers off ebay any good? I'd like to try and spend the least amount of money possible.

They are worth every penny. I bought my headers from ebay but they were name brand pacesetter. As long as you buy the real brand and not the kockoff china made stuff then you should have no problem buying on ebay.

do a cold air intake first, then pick up some headers. then have the computer tuned at pcmforless or lt1pcmtuning.

intake, headers, exhaust, then tune. simply worth every penny. stay away from non-branded stuff too. These cars are tight enough on space and fitment...non-branded stuff will only give you headaches during installs.

yes they are worth it

but, understand that the term "mod" is short for "modification" and before starting, you must fully, and I mean fully realize that you are modifying your car.

Do not expect them to drop in with ease

Do not expect them to simply bolt up to the old exhaust system

Do not expect lots of clearance on the floorboards

I have headers on my 3rd and 4th gen and have zero regrets
