Default Worth it to get new headers with stock cam and clutch?

I have a 2001 ls1 camaro, and it's putting out about 350 rwhp with exhaust mod.
Is it worth it to get new headers (long tubes) without changing the cam and clutch?

what is your setup right now? you say exhaust mod and 350rwhp, but 350rwhp would require full bolt ons at least.

SLP dual-dual catback, SlP lid
Ram air + K&N filter
Ported TB + airbox
Y pipe
ls6 intake

Haven't dyno tested yet, but I'd expect at least 350bhp from that

rwhp is different. stock rwhp is usually between 310-320 on ls1, this is close to 350hp crank hp orbhp (brake hp). You are probably sitting right between 350-360 bhp now. Your mods as is aren't giving you much; ls6 intake was stock on 2001-2002 cars and while worth a bit over the ls1, 01-02 cars also had a less aggressive cam than the 98-99. The ram air and filter is a wash, the lid is always good but again, not worth much. I was confused because in your OP you stated rwhp and now you state bhp. In terms of bang for buck, LT's are the best for a LS1 in terms of boltons. expect approx 10 rwhp gain from LT's. Also why would you change your clutch for headers? even cam? On pretty much all v8 cars, the exhaust manifolds are the most restrictive part of the exxhaust system

stock cam is crap. Lingenfelter GT11 Hyd Roller Camshaft 350-383-427 LS1 LS2 LS3 LS6 - Lingenfelter Performance
I'm going with that one
I was just wondering if you NEEDED to change the clutch to support 400rwhp.

how is the stock cam crap?

Torquer V2 and TR228r are popular choices for that size cam.

The stock cam is a great cam for what it is. It gives performance, decent fuel economy and has a great power curve and you can add tons of bolt ons that will easily put you over 400 hp without having to heavily modify your car.

If you plan on dumping the clutch, then yes replace it for sure, otherwise you may end up picking up the pieces.

Stock cam is a great cam for what it is...good power curve, makes power from bolt ons and puts you over 400 bhp without much effort. Also gets good fuel economy.
