Short story a teenage girl was at a stop sign I pulled up and all of a sudden I seen her back up lights and all I could do was push in the clutch and let her hit me

Bumper is toast now more cosmetic but it's crooked now and my hood has a 10 inch crease
Her bumper has a perfect rectangle from my bumper

She told me get a price of hood and bumper and I told her 1500 not counting paint I hope I wasn't too far off but I have a big bulge in front of my lights and think my supports are fubar as well

I didn't call the cops on her and didn't want my insurance involved
Her dad owns some firm so we will see I guess?

So who has any patriot red front end stuff lol
Was I close on parts if bought new?
My car was taken care of exterior wise after that ....well you all have read my posts lol

 

luckily it didnt set the airbags off. bumper cover and hood can be had for cheap, getting them painted to match may be tough. the plastic absorbers under the bumper cover may have gotting crunched.

 

Well I got them unplugged sooo. I might plug them back after this incident.
I'm sure I high balled it a bit but I had to start somewhere

 

You know of a place that sell good aftermarket hoods for these cars?

ebay you can get them for way less but fitting can be a pain.
i would look on ebabe and crageslist to see if there are some used parts the same color.

 

Then I was about right 400 for bumper almost 600 for factory hood
Although I'm a painter/body man I know paint will be no less than 800 to color match it since I'm doing it and I'm sure I can get a hood/ bumper for less and paint it myself
Im telling ya she had a nice paint job and body was mint till now

Well her dad flipped it on me and is saying I hit her

And I have text messages from her saying how much for damages? Hello! That's admitting guilt
Plus I think she only has a learners permit cause why would her dad tell her to take the back way and she said she has already been on two wrecks already well she said she was hit. I smell scam! I am 36 with a perfect record vs a 16yr old? That has prior's?
I'm sorry but if I hit her my car would have went under her ford contour bumper and my bumper is cockeyed why is her bumper straight?
