Default fuel pump, maybe electrical?

The other day, when i started my car, i noticed the fuel pump was super loud when it primed. Then when i started the car it was still loud. Its constantly humming louder than it ever has. I Changed the fuel filter, no change. It has no loss in power, it primes every time. When i was close to home, i went WOT to see if it was dying, but no difference in power at all. I did notice that when i do anything that draws electrical power like turning on ac or windows, the sound gets slightly quieter. Never stalled or not primed properly.

I have had minor electrical issues with the car, i found out i had bad battery terminals, but before that i was pulling some fuses. After i changed out the terminals and discovered a half way broken battery bracket, everything worked fine. But my fuel pump didnt start acting up until 2 days after that. I dont want to cut open my 'flap' or drop the tank just yet, i have a feeling its something simple. Any ideas?

You could do a fuel pressure test just to double check. Mines always been loud and I've never had a problem. Only time it ever gets louder is when I'm lower on fuel which is understandable seeing as the fuel cools the pump.

The only time I really hear mine is when the little seperator panel between the "trunk" and the rear hatch is left down. With it down I can hear the pump all the time. With it up, I can barely ever hear it.

fuel pump getting louder is a warning that fuel punp is getting tired. start planning on new fuel pump.

It's an electric motor. Hearing it get progressively louder means the motor is on the way out. Be prepared for a failure.

i have a feeling its somthing stupid, not the pump itself. I dont know what i can trouble shoot, any ideas? It has given mo no loss in function, or performance at all

if the noise is coming from the gas tank and it goes away when the punp stops then its the pump. pump may go good for a year and may go good for a day. one in my truck went for a year makin louder and louder noise, i got tired of the noise so changed it.
