Default fuel pump

does anyone know if there is an access door under the carpet for changing the fuel pump on a 95 z28? I know some cars have them and im about to change mine and just thought it would make the job that much easier....

thanks,
kevin

There is no door, the official way is to drop the tank. However, many people cut their own door to avoid dropping the tank.

Anyone who cuts a hole in there camaro that is not a gutted race car is just a jackass! First of all that hole would have to be about 4 foot by 5 foot to even get the sender out of the tank and even then it would be tight!

The job is not as bad as everyone says but it is not something that the novice should tackle.

The rear end DOES NOT have to come out. All you have to do is drop the exhaust.

I have done loads of them. The older 86-92's are a little easier IMHO.
