Default front end alignment

Ok so I drive down a really crappy road everyday to go to work, I know it isnt good for the car, only route I got. Is there any way I could do a front end alignment without having to take it to the shop. Im tired of spending $85 to get it aligned, I dont have too much longer that I will be driving that road Im getting ready to move. Also is there anything I could do to keep the car in better alignment (besides not driving that road)? Thanks for the help!

Alignments aren't something you can do without the equipment...i mean you can push on your tires and im sure you can change it...but just moving the tire the slightest bit one way or another changes it more than you'd think...i wouldnt suggest trying..

Is there something I could do with the suspension to maybe help keep the front end aligned?

Try driving slower on bad raoads, it will make your front end hang toghether longer.

Check around at all the shops that do alignments. One of our local shops here in Temple offer a lifetime alignment for around $150. Worth checking around for.

Bad enough that the alignment gets messed up, but the real problem with bad roads, is that suspension parts take a beating and need to be replaced in order to hold alignment. It also becomes a safety issue, as you don't want to break a part at road speed.
