I would also like to know what the best exhaust would be, i know i want an X pipe can anyone help where i can buy them? looking for a really deep and mean sound to let the neighbors know im home. Let me know what you guys think...

I like the pacesetters ceramic and it comes with ceramic y-pipe and they sound great. The rest of my exhaust is SLP cat back. O yea everyone hears me coming down the road. The link below is where I went to buy mine because it would take additional time for most places to get them coated. This place had them in stock and I got them quickly.

If you want to use an X pipe you need full dual exhaust. This is a bit of a problem to install on a Camaro due to lack of clearance, but it has been done. The best way would be to replace the Y pipe with a mandrel bent one, dumping into a 3" to 4" system. If you are into making noise, put in a set of electric cut outs and pop them open when you want to annoy the neighbors, and close them up when the cops show up.

 

I have flowmaster catback system with edelbrock ti-tech coated headers and y pipe it sounds awsome. i get compliments from people like us and am still able to **** the neighbors off.
