Engine swap
Im rebuilding a 350 TBI engine and i want to buy a camaro but i dont have a whole lot of money and i was wondering if i could a buy a V6 camaro with the 3.8L in it and put the 350 in i know i would have to make some adjustments because its a bigger heavier engine but do i have to swap the tranny out too so it matches up with the 350. The camaro im looking at says the tranny needs work so i was planning on rebuilding the tranny at school because i go to school for the auto program.
Thanks

There are to many parts you would need, Even if you had the V-6 camaro for free it would not be worth it. You would need to buy a V-8 car for all the parts. Even then you would need to make some of your own parts. You would have to gut the computer system cause the Camaro is MPI not TBI. I am not even sure your TBI would fit under the cowl. Just stick it in a 3rd gen. It would be 1/10 the work & money to buy a V-8 car with engine damage and fix it.
