engine help please

Default engine help please

i have a 94 z28 and i think i blew the cam .....i have a few options and i was wondering if you could tell me the difference between the camaro LT1 and the corvette LT1 i know the vette motor has corvette on the valve covers but i was wondering if there is a horsepower difference???????????

yes there is i think the 94 the camaro is rated at 275hp and the vett is 310hp i think. they cant have the camaro faster then the vett.

Ignore the power ratings. Pretty much the same engine, except Corvettes came with 4 bolt mains, and better intake and exhaust plumbing.

ya but they are both direct fit motors i just half to use my wiring thats why i was wondering i have a choice of eather so im trying to get as much info as posible I LOVE MY BABY I NEED HER BACK WHICH MOTER SHOULD I GO WITH

Almost direct fit, the water pump, exhaust manifolds, and intake plumbingare different. So you will have to save those from the Camaro engine and put them on the Vette engine. The Camaro computer should work OK.
