Default EGR System Removal on a 1996 z28

I know someone on ls1lt1 performance has a write up on a 93 z28 but I was wondering if anyone has a writeup on the removal of the egr system on a 96 z28 there are some differences I know that... or if anyone has done and can tell me where to start and how many block off plates I need and what not

you just need to plug the hold on the intake and exhaust if your headers have the hookup for egr

Theoretically you don't need the block off plates, although they make a cleaner solution. Why are you removing the EGR? You're not going to get any power increase from it since it's completely closed at WOT.

I also have a 96 LT1 that I'm putting into a 2nd gen F-body. Of course I want to delete all the emissions stuff and clean up the intake. In the pic, do I need the items I'm pointing at? If I don't, what do I do with the vacuum lines and harness wires? I have already had the PCM programmed to delete the egr and emissions and I don't want any unused plugs or unnecessary crap on the motor...any help would be appreciated

***EDIT** Those would be for the EGR and EVAP. They are now gone along with all wiring and vacuum lines associated with them.
