Default Edelbrock?

I found edelbrock lt1 heads for like 400 bucks, im guessing that they'll do nothing, but just in case thought id run it by u guys. i checked out the afrs, dragonrace's, and that lt4 bs. and i just cant afford any of those heads. the most i ever plan on pushin is around 450 hp, will the edelbrocks be good enough for an engine suckin that amount of air?

I haven't looked at the Edlebrock LT1 head specs yet but I can't imagine them not supporting at least that much HP.
Are those bare castings or complete assemblies?
Summit lists them one each at $563.69 & $657.60 respectively so a pair at that price is damn cheap.

im not sure exactly how much hp it will support but they would be an upgrade from the stock heads.so they will do something

i haven't heard any good results from edelbrock stuff. if you want to get anywhere near 450 horsepower, you're going to have to do a lot of building to handle that much power. if you cheap out on stuff then you won't get the results you hope for. lloyd elliott does great work with stock heads and will get my business
