Ok i just finished fixing all exhaust leaks in my 94 z28. for a short while one header came open while driving. Now when i make right turns and gas at the same time it chugs it has happened twice. I was thinking the fuel pump may be going i had a full tank of gas when this happened but i wanna know if there are some small things i can look at first. Thanks Reggie

 

what do you mean chugs like struggles to shift or like starts to go and gets high rpm and it lurches or what??

 

Like it wont go faster and yea lurches back and forth but the rpms wont go passed like 2200

 

Well this kinda happened to me but all my issue was that the a ruber flap on the intake box got sucked down and was blocking air from getting to the engine so any time i stepped on it it would stutter and lurch alot depending on how bad it was blocking the way.

 

I am going to try a tune up first maybe get luck but if not i guess i am taking out the fuel ump
