dash change

Default dash change

thinking about doing a dash change...i got a pinout of the IP plug, what else is needed besides the dash

what dash are you changing from and too. 98 to 98? 98 to 97?

you will need the entire heater assy from the 97+car it is completely different. and dont forget to get the 97+ "A" piller covers. This is where the side window defroster vernts are. And have fun with the wiring!

i got alldatapor so i got a pinout of the gauge plug for the 97 dash and a pinout for the 93 gauge plug...im thinking about it...id like to build a 1997 SLP SS clone

There are some things that may not work right between the 2 cars. The computers are not the same and the cluster gets some of its info from the PCM. I dont know if the signals are going to be different but it could be. Also your ODO data, you may want to check as well. The 97+ uses digital inputs, not sure about the 93-96 since the ODO is analoge.

i repinned a plug to accept a 94 TA cluster, from there im gonna get the 98+ gauge face(if all the indacators are placed the same)and go from there
