Default Oil Change

Hello everybody. I'm changing the oil on an 86 Camaro w/ 2.8L V6. Last time it was changed it was done by a quick lube place and they put on some kind of filter that I can't get off. I've tried three different kinds of oil wrenches but they can't get a grip on this thing. I do oil changes on my truck all the time but can't figure out this car.

Any ideas on how to get this thing off?

Thanks in advance.

Might get a strip of rubber, like from an old bicycle intertube and wrap around the filter and then put the oil filter wrench on top of it. I bought an old Bronco back in the 80's that someone had put the oil filter on but did not have the rubber oring on it. They "snugged" it up to the engine so it would not leak. Took me 1/2 day to get that thing off. Finally drove a screw driver through it and twisted it off but I don't recommend that because the metal can tear and leave you hanging.

Yea, I got it finally after a few taps with a hammer. They put it on way too tight. Now it's done the right way so next time it shouldn't be so bad. It didn't help that they used some weird filter that was nearly round on the end.
