Did it miss before you changed the wires? If it didnt did it occur right after changing or did it take awhile? I would verify if there is or isnt spark first they make a tester or you could just pull the #7 wire put a good plug in it lay it on the header dont hold it(you should use the tester). Have someone turn over the engine and see if there is good spark if there isnt put one of you old plug wires on and try it at least you would know if it is the plug wire or not.

Are you sure you didnt get the wires crossed?

no it ran fine...the wires and plugs were new and everything was fine for about 1500 miles then it just started doing it. i do have shorty headers on there 2 . could be the heat from the headers just so happen to fry that particular wire from the heat? but liek i said before you can hear it arcin down by that plug

Yea it can I had a 64 pontiac with a chevy in it that used to fry one all the time I had to use a rejay boot on it . It would arc and foul the plug. It should be easy to tell take the boot off and see if it is burnt take the plug out replace put one of your old wires on and try it.
