Ok my car was running fine and now when i drive in my 2.8 it at around 50mph i feel my car missing. it sits just under 2000 RPM's does anyone know wha this could be? I replaced the distributer, plugs, and wires. I have noticed that one of my wires has a slit in it. Im not sure what from but could this be the issue?

 

Could very well be, change out the wire and find out.

 

yea it sounds like it, i noticed the same thing at about those speeds. I looked and i didnt have a boot snapped on the number 6 plug at all, snapped it on good a tight, and it ran just fine.

Well i havnt really notticed it missing as bad now, like it still does it but when i posted it was raining for a week and it seems like it gets worse in the rain. I have also noticed a sound such as an air leak maybe coming from under my hood when i turn the car off...is this normal? When i took it to the diagnostic awhile ago they told me i needed a new tps because it was sending mixed signals to my computer but my friend readjusted it and it was working very well for awhile but now it is starting to run a little weird again.
