I gave the SLP headers and "Y" pipe a clear satin ceramic coating and started the curing process with a heat gun.Name: 100_1370.jpg

I already have a comp 292xfi and it ran well on stocks cubes and heads. The headgaskets did not hold up and I had a cracked ring. But running gasohol is kind of ridiculous on an engine I've put so much time/money into. So I'm going to get some gasoline from a local speed shop to run.

Well, I almost died last weekend, you should have been here, and global warming has nothing to do with vehicles!

This is the reason the artillery is so loud at my house, the shockwave skips off my lake!Name: 100_1277.jpg

look...i know you've been warned multiple times to leave the military out of this and consider this another one. you can look under my name and see why you should listen to this warning as well.

but i will say that it sounds like your build is coming along really nicely. exhaust looks pretty nice. also, you may want to look into a bigger cam if you're going 383 and with ported heads. bigger cubes can handle bigger cams. its a pretty good sized cam for stock heads and cubes, but is pretty mild for ported heads and bigger cubes.

oh, and if that's really where you live, i'm jealous. i think i could get used to walking outside every morning and looking at my lake! lol

you'd have to pry the fishing rod from my hand and kick me to my car to get me to head to work

Thanks. Well it's not "my" lake but our lake. And the crappy should be hitting now. I can catch about a hundred off my dock on around the first week in April. I gave up working a long time ago, it just does'nt fullfill my expectaitions. I feel we are one of the poorest countries in the world. All we have is the rich nature and animals that live around us and are protected. And are tasty!

I've decided to stay with my stock cam, injectors, and heads for fuel economy but still use a 58mm TB! Why? Well here it's just bad air all the time, combined with gasohol the automobiles barley do the speed limit. I just wanted to take it apart!

Well, we finally got some precipitation today and I was able to get out and find some uncontaminated fuel. About fifty miles north of my location. As the sun set the oxygen increased substantially. My four runner ran great. That's why I am keeping everything stock on my camaro. Because it doesn't matter what you do to it without good air and fuel it just will not run!
Good luck!
