why is the dex cool coolant so much better than the regular kind ?

Same base, different additives. Lasts longer and provides better lubrication for the water pump. Do not use if cooling systems uses copper parts, as it reacts unfavorably with copper.

and if you mix the dex cool with even the littlest bit of the green type it will gel.
