Default Clutch Life Expectancy.....

Does any one know on average under normal driving cond. How long a standad issue run of the mill LT1 Clutch should last before significant slippage.......Just replaced mine @ 112k and was wondering if the new one would last just as long.
if anyone has input please post response.

Regards.

it's like anything else, it's all about how you drive it. i have a 2002 z with some mods, the car had about 3000 miles on it when i finished my third round of modifications, took it to the track, it grabbed 1st and 2nd and blew thru 3rd like a slipping auto trans. its all about the power and how you drive it.

It is a vicious circle. Add power and break the drive train. Beef up the drivetrain and then add more power. Break the drivetrain. Beef up the drivetrain and on and on i goes. But it is fun.
