change lifters.

You mean intake. You can change the lifters pretty easy after the intake is removed and you loosen the rocker arms. If the oil has been changed on a regular basis and they are not all varnished up, you can pull them out with your fingers. If they are varnished up, you may have to get a lifter removal tool from your local parts store.

ah yes intake. lol i have removed that bad boy a few times. I think i have a bad one or 2. ive got a some noise clanking on my driver side valve cover. its in between a click and a clank sound. im gonna try and adjust my rockers again but its really hard to tell what is what bc my motor is so loud. When i first start up my car you can really hear it bad then it just kinda piddles down. maybe bc the oil gets to it. i dunno...
Can i change my car to a solid roller? if so what do I have to get to do so?

I don't know. I just started working on the LT1 engine. I replaced my head gaskets and adjusted mine according to instructions on shbox.com link and I fired it up once to see if it would start. I didn't have the manifolds on and it was loud so I didn't hear mine making noise either! LOL. I think craby stated in a post that he had to readjust his after running a couple weeks after doing some work on his engine. Maybe someone else with more V8 experience will chime in.
I guess it would also depend on if you have stock or some type aftermarket lifters and rockers. I have stock.
