camaro lt1 wont start at times
can anyone help me i have a 95 camaro Z-28 5.7L ENGINE no spark at times now more then ever been going on for about 6 month now already replaced dist,opti spark harness,ignition module twice,coil computer still dies out then wont start sometimes let sit then will start again someone told me about oil pressure switch can shut down if loses oil pressure has oil pressure maybe bad switch ? is there two switches one for gauge and one for computer ????

just saw that thread yesterday i have checked a few things when it wouldnt start but havent had a wireing diagram till now i do know i lose spart fuel pump still works have fuel pressure havent checked injector pulse when wont start but most of the time i am on the side of the road or in a parking lot when it dies or wont start and not much for tools when i want to check it it starts my luck so i have just been throwing parts at it hopeing it will fix it it has always had long cranking times sme times have to back off key then try again but it always started untill this problem and security light has always been on since i have owned it previous owner said its been like that for years and i have owned it for about a year
sounds like a vats problem. this is from the how to and faq sticky at the top of the 4th gen section.

buy the cable and datalog it for the long crank time. My LT1 fires up within a second or second and a half so there is something going on.
then, get a tune from Solomon and also have him tune out the VATS

No, that can't happen, unless your fuel pump relay also goes out while you're driving. The oil pressure switch is a tandem circuit to the pump. But all that is related to fuel supply, not a no-spark problem like you say you're having.
