i have a 93 camaro i just put a a set of 202 heads and a comp 280XFI HR13 Cam. i had it dyno'd and the computer modded by a performance shop. the car bucks spitts and sputters till about 2300 rpm exc for when its cold. the guy said its from the size of the cam and he cant do anything about it. it also blows black smoke at an idol.

Does anyone have the same size cam and have this problem or is there any thing i can do about this?

manual - patriot heads 202 intake 160exh.

 

Apparently your tuner was not up to the task. Black smoke at idle and rough running at low RPM is ususally caused by a too rich A/F mixture which can foul plugs and cause misfires and make things worse. You may want to call PCM for less and get the PCM tuned.
