The passenger side tab on the rear defroster broke off. Is there a way that I can re-attach it? Will soldering it damage the glass or tint on the window, or do I need to find a new hatch in the junk yard or something?

 

you can re solder the wire to the metal no problem i had the same issue pass side tab broke re soldered and it works great (a soldering iron doesnt get hot enough to hurt the glass)
