Default RE: best way to remove heater hoses?

hey all got the heater spittin out heat like no other now we just disconnected the two hoses going to the fire wall and blue it out with an air hose and a whole sht load of gunk came out...
now a new problem the heat just blows under the glove box... and \dosnt come out of anywhere else...
i think it might be because some time ago i took off the cover that covers the heater core? meybe that cover keeps it in line to the vents? but thats all i can think of any one have any answers? when its on the cold settings it comes out all vents but when changed to the red(heat setting) it only blows under the dash
