Alright so my factory clutch is toast and neds to be replaced. well the first shop i tried said it would be 850 for their clutch kit they put in a grand total of 1622 dollars for labour and so now i found a better transmission shop that is willing to put in any clutch i want for $325 in labour. but i dont know what clutch to get so far i have looked at Centerforce (shop said stay away from those) Spec, Clutch Masters and Competition Clutches. what brands have you guys used and had no problems with?

 

A lot of guys seem to like the Spec stage 2 for street manors and strength. RAM is always good.

Centerforce makes one of the best street V6 clutch but I have heard a lot of guys unhappy with their LT1 and LS1 Centerforce Clutchs.

 

I am currently using a Spec stage 4 pressure plate/ flywheel. The clutch wore kinda quick, and Now im using a stage 4 XTD unsprung, I have launched a few time at 6000 and its holding it own good.
