Default Bad ride

I have a 1995 Z28 and it has been driving rough in i think high gear. once it hits i think 4th gear or 50 - 70 mph it shakes really bad. does anyone have any idea if i might need to rebuild the tranny.

What is shaking, the car or the engine?? If car shakes, check wheel balance , alignment, and front end. If engine shakes, start with a good tune up.

I am about 99% sure its the car. When i had got the car back in late sept it was good. i had the engine tuned then to make sure nothing would go wrong with it after spending the money on it so im hoping its not the engine. but like i said it sure feels like the whole car shakes. i was thinking it was maybe the tranny.cuz once the car got past like 70 it went away. but if u still think that checking thewheel balance , alignment, and front end are it ill do that. Thanks for your help and ifyou have anymore ideas please let me know thanks.

try cleaning out the insides of the rims, or check if they are still balanced
