I have a 1995 Z28 and it has been driving rough in i think high gear. once it hits i think 4th gear or 50 - 70 mph it shakes really bad. does anyone have any idea if i might need to rebuild the tranny.

 

What is shaking, the car or the engine?? If car shakes, check wheel balance , alignment, and front end. If engine shakes, start with a good tune up.

 

I am about 99% sure its the car. When i had got the car back in late sept it was good. i had the engine tuned then to make sure nothing would go wrong with it after spending the money on it so im hoping its not the engine. but like i said it sure feels like the whole car shakes. i was thinking it was maybe the tranny.cuz once the car got past like 70 it went away. but if u still think that checking thewheel balance , alignment, and front end are it ill do that. try cleaning out the insides of the rims, or check if they are still balanced
