Default auto to manual conversion

I am looking to get a 93-96 lt1 camaro with t-tops. I want a manual but finding one within 75 miles of me is hard to do. I can get autos all day long but the manual is a hard order to fill. I am wondering how hard it is to convert an auto to manual and if it's worth it for me to go through the conversion. I know I'll need the clutch pedal assembly, tranny, shifter, center console insert for a manual. I don't know about some other things though. Will I need a flywheel or can the flexplate be used as the same thing? Is the drive shaft the same? Would I need a new tranny crossmember or will the auto one work? how much of a pain is it to install?

Thanks

Default RE: auto to manual conversion

not worth it, i have an auto and i love it. But the $$ it takes to convert, compared to the price of the car, it just wouldn't make sence.
