Default Air Pump

Where is the electrical connector to disconnect the air pump on a '94 Z28?
And will this cause the check engine light to come on?

The connector is right on the AIR pump. Yes, the check engine lite will go on. Keep in mind that the AIR pump works only for a few minutes, just enough to light up the cat converter. Removing or disconnecting the pump will not add any power, but allow the cat to get fouled sooner.

I have no cat on the car, had it removed when the exhaust was done. How long is the air pump running for, especially on cold mornings?

I heard it weighs about 20 pounds or so. That would be the only real reason to remove it (if you have no cats/emissions) aka weight reduction.

Runs for 3 to 4 mins, and weighs no where near 20 lb.

you dont need to. it doesnt really do anything for you. I removed mine, it was on the driver side in a little compartment in front of the tire. id assume camaro's have it in the same place. thing weighed maybe a couple pounds.
