Default Noob Question

Hey guys im new on here, and im lookin at a 94 z28 convertable. What i want to know is how reliable these cars are. This one has 104 k on her.How many miles can youusually expect to get out of an Lt1? Ive never head of them lasting as long as the mustangs. Also what are some good bang for the buck mods and what are you guys getting for gas mileage? Thanks sorry for all the questions

they will deffinitely last a long time, if you're not dumb over 200k no problem, not outlast mustangs ?? whaaaa ? I've personally driven a few f-bodies over 150k (when i was looking to buy) and they ran beautiful.

normal upgrades, long tube headers, off-road y-pipe, catback exhaust, intake such as k&n chrome, slp, k&n full. etc..

Dont know where that came from but thats not true. There are hundreds of convertible
sports cars. Anything from a AMG roadster to an S2000. All convertibles, all sports cars.

And besides that, I would consider the Camaro more of a Muscle car, than a sports car.

91 octane if you like your car. Look for usual stuff: Does the tranny shift smoothly? Clutch slippage? Are the doors sagging? Under the car rust? Any freaky electrical issues like do you have to honk twice to get your electric window motor to work or does your electric window motor just not work? Does the E-Brake Work? Just look for the usual stuff. Leaks, you know.........Get your maintenance reports. As for them lasting longer then Mustangs, that all depends on how it was taken care of. Now these cars and Mustangs are put in a price perspective that every father, son, and 16 year old can buy so chances are, they could be abuse. A car will last as long as you take care of it. Keep an open mind. 104,000 miles could last you until 200,000+ if you want it to or it could blow a head gasket at 105,000 if it was hammered. It's all in the history, gamble bro.
