Default 95 LT1 z28 to 94 LT1 z28 engine swap

Hi All,
Wondering if someone has done this. I picked up a 94 z28 for really cheap ($100.00), less motor and trans. It's really clean, leather t-tops, stock chrome wheels. Anyway I went to the police auction here locally and bought a 95 z28 that was thrashed. Swapped the motor and trans, ( old fashion way, from the top), with the wiring harness and computer from the 95. Now the motor turns over, but I've got no spark, nothing to the coil. I went back to the 95 and there is another connector with only two wires on the pass fender that it routes around the front of the engine comartment all the way back to the fire wall drivers side, and into the passenger compartment. Everything else plugged right into the wiring loom on the 94, except this one connector. The wires are pink and grey. Is this my problem? Does anyone know? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Dave

Ok,
I had some time today so I traced the wires, ( pink and tan). The pink goes to the engine compartment fuse box, ignition 7.5 amp fuse. The tan routes into the fire wall connector, into the passenger compartment. wondering if I could splice into the wiring on the car????? Will keep you updated..............

Can anyone suggest someplace where I can get a better wiring diagram other than a Chiltons? The tan wire goes to the gauge cluster, best as I can tell), so now I'm really stumped. If I could get a better wiring diag. I could figure out a way to spice it in somewhere.

check all the ground connections. Those can cause the spark to act up. The wiring diagram should be the same between a 94 and 95. Nothing changed until 96 when an extra CAT was installed...

There is a differnce 93/94 are the same, 95 is different, 96/97 are the same.
The difference in 93/94 to 95 is c105 ( 2 wires, pink and tan) the tan wire is a serial data output, for diag purposes. The same as tan wire in the 93 c100 connector, not in the 94 c100 connector. The pink wires is for power feed from injector fuse #10. this is the same as the pink wire in the 93/94 harness c100 connector. So you need to splice into the pink wire, on g or k pin on the 94 engine compartment.

find a dealer service manual. also called a factory service manual. some searches work better if u use shop manual. heres what they look like. this one is spendy so u will want to do some searching of your own. got mine for 40 bucks on ebay.
