Got a hold of a known good coil and a module to test tonight. Also I have an MSD ignition box in the car so I called them and they walked me thru on how to test their box to see if that is the problem. Hopefully I will have the answer tonight as to what the problem is.

It was the MSD ignition box that was causing the problem. I tried another coil, another module, no luck. I unburied the MSD and played with the wiring and it revealed the problem. I then took the MSD out of the loop and it starts and stays running just fine.

Yes, but the stock ignition sucks compared to what I was used to with the MSD. The unit is over $300.00, so I am calling MSD to see how much it would be to repair. Also need to add a blaster coil.
