Ok, I know what you're talking about now. I've done about four front wheel hubs and I didn't really notice that the wire was different. It has the standard two prong connector that connects to the wheel hub. Every time I've had a hub go out it's thrown a SES light, not an ABS inop light. I don't know if other years would be different. My problem is a code 57, left front motor short to ground. But everytime I've had it checked out they haven't been able to find anything wrong. The ABS motor kit checks out fine, they can't find a short in the wiring, which is what I think it is but haven't dove into changing that yet. I had my wife take it to a big dealer in Miami while I was in Korea and they had it for a month and spent I don't how many hours and brought in a specialist from somewhere and they couldn't figure it out either. I don't know, sometimes it'll stay on the whole time it's started, other times it take a while before it comes on, and then sometimes it'll go off while driving. And that makes me think that it's def a wiring problem.

GA: An intermittent light is usually indicative of a bad connection, this could be the connector itself (either the sensor side or the wire side), potentially a wire that's worn through or cracked insulation and is now shorting etc.

I know, I've been all over the wirering with no luck, the last dealer that had said they went over every wire and tested every wire and found no shorts, so at this point it's replace the wirering and hope that fixes it, but I got bigger fish to fry before that.
