check your fuses. sounds like its in the igniton switch or wires going to it. so long as you didnt change any wiring or computers on your 94 it should start. better get the test light/volt meter out and start tracking.

Cool

I replaced the fuse got it to turn over.

Like I said before My 97 z was running right up to when I took it out and put itin my94z.I also have a 95. My 94 came with no pcm,bcm or rear end I was wondering if I could use the pcm and bcm from the 95z.I did get a rearend from the junkyard out of v6 6speed not sure the ratio.

do i need to change the opti spark? Iknow it good but will it work on the 94z

need more info. what pcm/ecu are you using. the obd2 pcm from a 97 will not work in the obd1 ecu 94 system. wiring harnesses and some sensors would need to be changed with a host of other things. 94 has a unique computer used only in the 94. you would be better served to get a 94 ecu for the car.

Default Camaro wont start

Heres the deal Crapy I wrecked my 97z it was still drivable though. I found a94z ok It was missing a rearend, bcm, pcm,.I found a rear end at the salvage yard not sure the ratio but it was from a v6 manual car. I also have a 95z of has the bcm, pcm. I installed the engine from the 97z into the 94zcan the bcm,and the pcm work from the 95z.also will the 97 optispark work with the 95 pcm.I've got it all together now but it still wont start if I use starting fluid it will run for about 5 seconds or less. Ican hear the fuel pump not sure of the pressure though. This engine was running perfect before I took it out of my 97z. I hope you can help me with this.My email is gld52@yahoo.com

im gona say your 97 vats is not recognizing the resestance of 94 ignition as correct. it will not let/tell the injectors to fire. you may get away with having the vats tuned out of the pcm. the 97 opti will work but will show a code for failing crank sensor because the 94 or 95 system is not the same, the under hood wiring is also different, does not have plugin for crank sensor. did you change the under hood wiring harness to the 97 one? the wiring and sensors under the dash are also different. you may also have problems if you have an auto trans. oh and its craby. lol.
