Default 1995 obd1 to 1997 obd2 conversion help

My ride is a 1997 Z28 and I installed a 1995 LT!. I converted the engine to a 1997 obd2. It started up great on the 1st try how ever it had a loud squealing sound under the timing cover.

What I have found is that the relucter wheel is hitting the front cover. I also found the relucter wheel spun off of the key way for the crank.

Why is my relucter hitting the front cover and why did it spin off the crank key?

Thank for any help is appreciated.

check the timing chain sprocket your using on the crank to see if its wider than the 97 one. also make sure its fully seated. if memory serves the 97 has a different crank sprocket width.
