Default Belt chirping at power steering pulley

First off I’m new to the forum and I apologize if this is posted somewhere else. I bought a 1994 with an LT1. There is a loud chirp in the pulley for the power steering pump. Belt, Alternator and tensioner pulley have all been replaced because of their condition as I was going through the car. The only chirp and issue left is in the ps pulley. It gets louder when you hit the throttle. I sprayed the back side of the pulley with wd40 and that quieted it for a bit. Do I need to replace the entire pump to resolve this or do I need to replace the pulley? I’m new to this design. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

You mention the tensioner pulley was replaced, but was the tensioner? Your spring may be worn out.

I would also look at the ps pulley for corrosion (clean with wire brush).
With the engine running, you can also CAREFULLY rub a bar of soap on both sides of the serpantine belt.

let us know how you make out.

Also look down the belt to see if the pullies are aligned with each other. I have had to shim all kinds of cars and system to get chirping out of a belt system. After makert parts are the biggest reason but I have had to put washers behind accessories on can before they where ever delivered to the customer. There was even a code under warranty repair for adjusting accessories alignment.

Since tensioners moves they wear, they are by far the most common cause of belt chirping just coming out of no where with no work done on it. So if you are driving a car and the belt just starts chirping Check the belt and the pivit point on the tensioner if you replace a parts on the car and it starts chirping after that it most likly a alignment issue.
