Question 1995 camaro z28 lt1 starter wont turn!

this started by turning the key a week ago and it wouldnt turn over then i turned key again and it started up. it did it again few hours later and took 3 key turns before the starter turned and started the car. woke up the next day and went to start the car and turned the key and nothing, starter wont turn and all the dash lights come on, you can here the fuel pump turn on and all lights and radio work, pulled starter out and had it tested and its fine, i had change out the ignition switch on the stearing column last year and thought it may be that so i changed that again and still nothing, i also changed the lock cylinder and keys last year so not sure if it could be that cause its less then a year old, i did see that the security light blinking on the dash when i turn the key on.. any help please?

See this link.
How to bypass the VATS system in a late model GM vehicle
I bought a module that scans at 50 Hz and bypasses the circuit. I haven't needed to use it yet.

i would like to keep the car stock and not bypass any wiring. is there a way to fix the vats? or can the vats be replaced?

A new ignition switch would fix it, and not bypass it. You wanna pay to have that replaced or do a simple fix that costs than $50?
Like J.G. Wentworth says...It's your money!

I have a 95 Z as well and mine done that for months if i turned the key too fast the security would engage and the light come on id have to wait for the light to go off then try again. Ive researched and looked everywhere for an explination because mine finally quit. its been sittin two years bc it wont crank. i finally found that there is a theft deterent module on the outside of the driverside chassis. its around $200. and is supposed to fix it bc ive checked everything and asked around and thats the only thing it can be.
